What is World Wide Web (WWW)?
World Wide Web is a client server model (Request - Response
Architecture) which was conventionally used before the invention of the
web and still in use in some places.
The main difference between World Wide Web and Conventional Client
Server model is that internet is used with the Web instead of the local
network.
Internet provides the world wide communication and good architecture but
there is also a drawback of using the internet that internet doesn't
support guaranteed delivery which is supported by Web on top of the
internet.
The operation of web is based on communication standards that are wildly
used. All browsers and web servers follow the defined standards
therefore any type of browser can communicate any web server similarly
it is independent to device running browsing to access web.
